Well hello!500 people will be dressing up as bunnies and running for one mile across Town Field, Doncaster on Saturday 3rd April in support of children's charity SAFE@LAST....and we want you to be one of them! SAFE@LAST is an award winning charity that improves the lives of Children in South Yorkshire. It works to help children who are at risk through running away. It aims to intervene to protect them from what they are potentially running towards and what they are running away from. It handles complex issues such as neglect, physical abuse, self harming, conflict and violence at home, sexual exploitation, mental health problems and many more. To learn more, click here to visit their website. So, how can YOU help?STEP 1. Please register here as soon as possible to take part. This will secure your place in the event. We will keep you informed in the run up to the event by email or text. You can also check our website for the latest developments. STEP 2. We are asking each adult runner to try and raise a minimum of £10 in sponsorship from friends & family and submit the funds via our Just Giving Page prior to the event. Alternatively, you can pay on the day - just make sure you turn up between 9.30am and 9.45am to allow sufficient time to visit one of our payment desks. If you are running with a child, we request a £2 registration fee on the day for each child. STEP 3. Get yourself a bunny costume - ears and a tail will do if you don't want to go the whole hog (click here for bunny suit ideas or to buy ears for only £1.50). Or if you have kids, why not make one? There will be a prize for the best Bunny Suit on the day! If each participant raises just £10 we will reach our target of £5,000 for SAFE@LAST!!! This will help SAFE@LAST launch its preventative education program in Doncaster. Please help us make it happen!
